Gardening tools

Hello. Does anyone know where I can rent gardening tools like lawnmower and trimmer? We just moved here in PDE and I want to do the mowing myself, but I cannot find a place to rent the tools. Thanks in advance! -Anna

It seems to me that there is plenty of opportunity in Uruguay to start an equipment rental company. I don't know PDE, but none exist in the Atlantida area. I'm betting you will have to do what others do - buy the equipment or hire a gardener.

Thanks for the reply. The equipment cost are beyond our budget right now and I don't know until when we'll be staying here, so I rather rent.

The only way to rent gardening tools here in rural Colonia is to employ a garden contractor to come and do the work for you.

In Uruguay, functional power tool rentals come attached to an inseparable device called a "worker" which may or may not properly fulfill its product description.
I do think, however, that in PDE a d.i.y. type rental place would probably go over well. I'd be willing to invest with a little capital and equipment.
