David, I have been trying to PM you with shipping container information but I am getting the "FORBIDDEN" to post warnings, so if you care to send me your email via PM, I will correspond with you that way. Many of us are having trouble with the PM things and it doesn't seem resolvable. Randy

Hello everyone,

I'm a young woman currently living in the U.S. I've traveled to Japan and Canada and I've been seriously considering making my life in Uruguay. I'm especially drawn to the idea of sustainable living and would like to live where I could work as an ESL teacher, make some money and grow my own food. Living in other parts of the world has given me a great love for a simpler lifestyle...perhaps one where I could ride my bike to work. I hope to learn lots about Uruguay on this forum and get a feel for how it is there.

I'm especially interested in getting information on the cost of living, average pay rates for ESL teachers and if I'd be able to live comfortably and perhaps send some money home to my family in the U.S. I'm in no way extravagant and I'm thinking I'd be able to cut out a lot of expenses that i have in the U.S. if I was to move to Uruguay. In any case, thanks for your time and I look forward meeting everyone!
Love your life.

Hello,
My name is Terry and my wife Michelle and I are looking to relocate to Uruguay in the next 3-5 years.
I'm doing research and found this great forum!
We are currently residing in California USA and enjoy traveling out of the country.
Any helpful tips are greatly appreciated, but this site seems easy to use so far.
:)

For all of you in-country, I look forward to picking your brains and thank you in advance.
For those of you researching, I welcome you to join me explore the possibilities of this great place!
Ciao, Terry
